Monday, students in Periods 2 and 3 reviewed the material in Chapter 9 (Molecular Geometry and Bonding Theories). They also received a Practice Test for Chapters 8 and 9.
Homework for Periods 2 and 3: Work on the Chapter 8 and 9 Practice Test. Your test on Chapters 8 and 9 will be on Monday/Tuesday.
On Monday, students in Period 4 reviewed the material in the Periodic Table packet and looked at a demonstration regarding the reactivity of three different metals.
Homework for Period 4: During
our next class we will go over the information from the handout about the reactivity of three different metals. You will then take a quiz on the periodic table.
On Monday and Tuesday, students in Periods 5, 7, and 8 worked on a packet about Chemical Bonding.
Homework for Periods 5, 7, and 8: No homework. I will continue to review the concepts related to Chemical Bonding and Nomenclature during our next class.
